Tokina 18mm T1.5 Cinema Vista Prime Lens (PL Mount)
SUPER FAST T1.5 CINEMA PRIME LENSES
The 18mm T1.5 Cinema Vista Prime lens from Tokina is available in E, EF, MFT and PL Mounts. It offers a fast T1.5 T stop, good for low light filming, and there is nearly no breathing during focus pulls. Very pleasing image character across the T1.5 to T22 Iris range and usable wide open. The use of aspherical elements and modern coatings provides nicely corrected images, with exceptionally low chromatic abberations. Newly designed large format cinema glass, and image circle of 46.7mm covers FF35, VistaVision and Red Dragon 8K VV.
Clearly marked focus and iris scales on both sides of the lenses. Consistent 114mm front outer diameter, good for efficient matte box use. The lenses also feature a 112mm screw-in filter size (Excluding Vista 18mm). There is a consistent length of lenses in this T1.5 line, making them ideal for quick lens changes. This consistent length of lens during focus pull, enables a swing away matte box to stay put. 9 bladed Iris for rounded bokeh aesthetic, and no image shift during focus pull. These lenses boast robust construction materials, ideal for long term use and ownership, and feature a shimmable mount.
